More About High Parks Gospel Hall

All our beliefs rest on the absolute inspiration, authority and infallibility of the Bible as the unchanging Word of the Living God. They can therefore be checked against the Bible verses listed below.

About the Lord Jesus Christ

About Salvation from Sin

  • We are all sinners: ‘All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God’ (Romans 3:23Psalm 14:2,3)

  • Sin will be judged: ‘The wages of sin is death’ (Romans 6:23Ezekiel 18:4)

  • We cannot save ourselves: ‘By grace are ye saved through faith…not of works, lest any man should boast’ (Ephesians 2:8-9Jeremiah 13:23)

  • God’s answer is the death of Christ: ‘Christ hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God’ (1 Peter 3:18Isaiah 53:6)

  • We must have a change of mind: ‘God …commandeth all men everywhere to repent’ (Acts 17:30)

  • We must believe what God says: ‘Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved’ (Acts 16:31)

  • We can be sure we are going to heaven: ‘He is able to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him’ (Hebrews 7:25)

About the Local Church
